Ten Bullets for a Happy Workspace
Artist and cool guy Tom Sachs and his co-workers have made a viral hit video about the 10 rules they use to manage their workshop as a "happy and productive environment". Here the Wall Street Journal has him summarize the 10 points for readers who don't have 22 minutes to watch the Youtube video.
Some are tongue-in-cheek (I suppose), most are clever, and all made me think. I especially like #7 "Finding Lost Things" which includes 1)Believing you will find it, 2)clearing everything away (90% of all things are found when cleaning), and 3)relaxing and trusting your instinct.
Some people hate it and say they'd never want to work for Sachs, while others have embraced it and added it to new personnel training. See what you think.....
